Does Micro Media buy from customers out of the United Kingdom?

Currently, Micro Media does not buy from customers outside of the United Kingdom. However, we would love to see our service help around the world, and are working to expand in the future.

What items can I sell to Micro Media ?

Wootronics buys a specific set of:


- Apple Products (iPhone, iPad, iPod)

- Smart Phones (Samsung, Blackberry, etc.)

- Tablets (Microsoft, Asus, etc.)


However, in some cases we'll buy other electronics such as gaming consoles, laptops, etc. If you'd like to inquire about selling an item that's not listed on our site, please send us an email through the contact us page and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

My items not listed, will you still buy it?

In some cases, Wootronics will offer a sell-on-consignment service for devices not listed on our site. If you'd like to see if your device qualifies, please contact us with as much information as you can (device model, serial number, etc.) and a detailed description and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

1. Find your item on our homepage. If your item doesn’t match exactly with an item on our site, do NOT select it. If you can’t find your item, you can inquire here to see if we’ll buy it.


2. Once you’ve found an exact match to your gadget, set the condition it’s in by answering a few questions. It’s important to be honest with your items condition, otherwise it will delay your payment. Look for our FAQ to help you determine the condition of your item, ensuring a smooth transaction.


3. Complete the checkout process and ship your item (it’s free!). Once we receive your shipment, our team will inspect it and send your payment within 1 business day – guaranteed.*


*If the item you send does not match your description online, your offer will be updated accordingly; even offering more money if we think it’s in better condition than you stated. We’ll wait at least 5 days for you to accept or decline the offer before we send payment. If you decline the new offer, we’ll ship your item back to you free of charge.

Does Macro Media protect my personal information?

Macro Media does not share or sell your personal information. Furthermore, all devices accepted by us are given a complete data wipe and restored to factory settings after they've been paid for. Any other forms of storage such as a SIM card or SD card will be destroyed to ensure your privacy is protected.

Does it cost anything to use Macro Media?

No, it's completely free! We pay for shipping and there isn't any cost from your end. Using our service is absolutely risk-free and you're never obligated to send us your item if you don't feel comfortable. It's just one of the ways Macro Media delivers superior service to our valued customers.

Am I obligated to send my item to Micro Media?

Never! If we send you a shipping kit and you've decided you don't want to send it back, you don't have to.  There is never any commitment or obligation when using our service - if you send us your item then have second thoughts, we'll ship it right back to you free of charge!
